So Public Speaking was the scariest thing I think I have ever done. I decided to continue on this path of what scares me, pushes me, challenges me.
But after writing the title I realized there are many things that I have done that were super difficult. So here it is, ONE of the hardest most exhausting thing I have done.
A few weeks ago, after riding mountain bikes for about 2 months, I decided to push myself and attempt to ride an iconic trail in Moab known as The Whole Enchilada. With the encouragement of my boyfriend (Im starting to notice a trend) we set off on what would be one of the most exhausting adventure I can remember. 32 miles, only 1,100 feet of climbing but that was at just over 11,000 feet elevation, 28 miles of technical downhill and then finishing off in the wonderful town of Moab. At least that is how it was supposed to go.
After 18 miles I was exhausted, but had no other option but to keep going. 2 flat tires, hitch hiking to get back to town. It was a crazy ride!
Was I in over my head? Maybe but it sure was fun. Here is a video with the highlights of my little excursion!
