Why do we do what we do. What drives us to want to “Risk our lives” for the thrill of the jump, the opportunity to introduce others to what we do and the freedom that comes with jumping? Our attitude in life directly relates to how much we decide to participate in what we love! We are all guilty of having an attitude that is less then ideal, but we all have a choice on what attitude we want to have. The photo below holds so much truth in life!
(Example) Yesterday my boyfriend was in a gnarly skydiving accident that had the potential to be so much worse. Although he is expected to make a full recovery with time the thought of what it could have been is almost unbearable. Throughout the entire ordeal and through the help he needs even just to sit up he has managed to not only keep a positive attitude but his sense of humor as well! He still thinks he is funnier then he is but that is just an indication of his sound mind not being affected by the accident. He has accepted the help he needs to sit up, roll over or walk and he has done it all in stride with a smile on his face.
We all have the choice to accept the offer and keep on with life all while never loosing our smile! We accept the risk and decide that it is worth it because it is truly our passion!
